Marble Madness, Road Blasters, Indiana Jones, Peter Packrat and Road Runner are all games that utilize the Atari System 1 mainboard. This mainboard utilizes a single Motorola 68010 processor and up to 1 megabyte of game memory to achieve great heights in classic arcade gaming. There will be more to come on this page - a page for individual games with screen shots, control panel and marquee pictures, and more. For now, here is a link to a Marble Madness game flyer - front back
Also see the Road Blasters page for more info, the Road Blasters page will be moved to this section later.

A second Road Blasters cabinet has been procured. This one is going to my brother and will house Marble Madness, Indiana Jones, Road Runner and Road Blasters. It will receive a power supply transplant from my Road Blasters and Marble Madness will be placed in this, then off to Craig's (my brother) apartment it goes. We'll see how well his girlfriend deals with an arcade machine invading her space ;-)

The second RB cabinet is still not functional, apparently there are two power supplies for the System 1 cabinet, one is linear the other a switcher. My cab is a switcher and the wiring harness is different than Craig's linear harness, so rather than hack his harness, find a new AR board, and install switched power supply, I've ordered the proper one from Bob Roberts. What a lifesaver, this was looking like an ugly project based on looking at schematics and email discussions with Bob, much easier to put the original back in.

All the kits are here, still need trackballs for my Marble Madness, two more control panels for Indiana Jones (mine is thrashed) and Peter Packrat boards.

Lots of other projects have kept this one off the priority list, but I have been playing Marble Madness, and need a resistor to fix the AR3 board in my brothers Sys 1 cab. I think he's given up owning the game, it's at his apartment, not functioning, and he's getting back into his Playstation :-( So this one will probably go on Ebay after its working, not my decision, it's his game and his money. Maybe I can talk him into keeping it, we'll see what happens.

Well this page has been seriously neglected for the last two months. Nothing to report, the AR3 board is in the hands of a "licensed professional" (thanks Dick) who will fix it for me. I tried soldering a new resistor in this thing, but it still didn't work properly. It really got cooked and needs somebody with more than a single celled brain to look at it. (thanks again Dick) So when this is returned, hopefully very soon, and the other cabinet is tested, I'll have more news. Also forthcoming are more screenshots for the games.
